Bugs...

Postby dvhybj5913 on Sun Sep 28, 2008 3:12 pm

So the other day I had a random question go through my head....

Do you think that bugs have all the answers to God and are actually super smart and know the answers to everything concerning God and time and the type of things that we contemplate at youth group? So, basically we're the opposites? We know the stuff like living and all that and we think about those questions while the bugs know everything like that but are "stupid" as we call them? Same goes with animals??? I dont know, what do you guys think? tell me if this makes sense to you guys too, because sometimes I say things that only make sense to me. :)

I've often wondered kind of the same thing... not the bugs part, but I've wondered what kind of connection the animals have to God. I think that they are fallen too, meaning they aren't the way they were created because of sin, just like us. Animals that hunt and kill each other are my main example for this. But they don't have souls, so does God speak to them in a different way, are they self-aware?
I think that animals (bugs included) don't have the capacity for abstract though like we do, so they don't question why things are the way they are. Kind of like a little kid just trusting God is there because that's how it is. So in that respect they have more answers to God, because the answer is usually to trust that God is God. But I don't think they have the ability to have a relationship with Him like we do, so they aren't experiencing the fullness of trusting in God. Does that make any sense at all!?!

I think I get it...so basically they have faith in God but don't necessarily have a relationship with him? I guess our options with this is that first one, or they can talk to God and have a relationship with Him. Does that make sense? I have another question too, sorry. Do animals and bugs have free will and is there temptation in their worlds? And if they don't have free will what is there world like, such as are they robots and they can't control anything or ???? Sorry, so many questions!

No need to apologize for questions! That's why this is here. You're asking some good ones, I'm going to try and find an expert on this stuff and see what I can find out, because frankly, I don't know. But that's what makes learning so much fun (wow... that sounds way dweeby, oh well).
