So I have a couple questions for whoever visits the forums:

Is this forum room private? As in, if we had one for prayer requests, would we be able to make it so only our group can see it?

Would people actually use a prayer request option if it was available? I just thought it would be neat to have a place where people could post prayer requests and keep updating them. I personally would enjoy checking in every couple days to see what I can pray for for you and how other prayer requests turn out, or whether there were any important developments. Maybe people could post reactions to the prayer request too, I guess I don't know. Anyway, I don't know if anyone else would actually use this, or if it's not the best place for prayer requests.

That's a super-fantastic idea. I'm curious how much it would get used too. I could make a password protected area on the website so it could be more private. What do the rest of you think?

Hmm it sounds like a good idea, but I don't think I'd actually use it because my prayer requests are kind of personal and it's the internet and all... I don't want to be hypocritical, either, and expect people to use it if I don't, so... Yeah, I don't think that helped at all, sorry.

Amy- that's exactly what I was asking. I guess I don't know how safe the internet is and maybe people wouldn't want to put their personal prayer requests on it. I was thinking more that it would be a good way to stay connected and up-to-date on people's prayer requests, especiallly if it's something with ongoing developments. For me personally, it would be a way to keep up with what to pray for even if I missed church- it frustrates me when I can't come on Sunday because I can never come to the Table, so I have no idea how you guys are doing. About your fears of being hypocritical, don't worry. That's why I'm asking first. I mean, I might like it, but how boring would it be if only one person used it!

So basically, if you want to skip that whole first paragraph, I said thanks for your opinion!
