Angels

When did God create angels? If with the rest of creation, why isn't it talked about in the first few chapters of Genesis? If not with the rest of creation, why not?

I have another question related to angels, can satan repent of his sins and become an angel again? this might sound a little weird but doesn't God promise deliverence to everyone who puts faith in Him? :?

angels

That's a great question, I've wondered that as well. I've also often wondered about the number of angels. Since the world population keeps growing, does that mean Angels are pro-creating as well? If not, are they becoming less and less capable of addressing the world's needs as the angel to human ratio decreases?

I know, I've just asked more questions without bringing answers. This one will take more research, but I wanted you to know that I read it and am thinking about it.

if the number of angels didn't increase, then what would our souls become when we reach heaven? just souls walking around angels? if so would the souls be able to do what the angels could do as far as doing things for us humans? (does that make sense?) sorry, so many questions!

It sounds like you're suggesting that our souls become angels. Did I understand correctly?

Angels are separate beings from humans, or anything else for that matter. Sort of like another species, if that helps. When we die, we continue to be human... and as far as I can tell, we even have bodies (new ones, shinier ones). Angels are a whole different ball game. We know there are a few different kinds of angles (depending on their job) but we know very little about their physical appearance (which is the case for most spiritual things... we just don't know).

Does that make sense?

We've had some great conversations about this. Like, what if, at the end, Satan sincerely repented and asked for salvation? He's not human, so did Jesus die for him? Does he even have the offer of salvation.
Part of me wants to say that he shouldn't have a chance, he's pure evil... that doesn't get forgiven.
The other part thinks that there would be no great display of God's might, justice, and mercy than to forgive his sworn enemy.
I don't think that will happen, I think Satan is far too proud to accept that option. But if he did, I would have to trust that whatever God's response was would be fair and right. It's really interesting to think about though.
